I'm currently a mechanical engineering student at Olin College of Engineering, graduating in May of 2023. I am excited about the possibilities of engineering in the field of sustainability and conservation and finding the best way to have an impact in those areas. I have a passion for nature and the outdoors and I hope to carry that passion over into my engineering work in the sustainability field.
In the same way that I find adventure outside of work fun through backpacking, climbing, and scuba diving, I find exploratory work fun and engaging. I work best in an atmosphere with autonomy, a variety of challenges to face, and creative space to flex my innovative spirit. I enjoy work where I have space to deploy my inventive capabilities, whether it's through CAD design work or through space to think critically about concrete problems a company is facing. In life, I enjoy interacting with small close-knit groups of people where we can all learn from each other. I seek out the same kinds of people in a work environment as I do in my personal life. Most importantly, I'd like to contribute towards meaningful missions where I know my efforts will have significant impacts, both professionally and personally.
